EPHJ 2022 – Back, and Building on It

EPHJ 2022 is behind us, and it was a great edition. We returned for our second participation with the same booth concept that made an impression last year — and refined it. The scenography, again designed by Studio Raphaël Lutz, kept the same DNA: the black starfield backdrop on the left, the large TOFU poster at the centre, the feature diagram on the right. This year, we switched the tables to white — a small but deliberate change that gave the space a cleaner, more open feel.

TOFU, One Year On

A year after its EPHJ debut, the TOFU board continues to find its audience. This edition was a great opportunity to reconnect with visitors who discovered the platform last year, and to introduce it to a new wave of engineers and companies exploring what a compact, Swiss-made embedded platform can do for their projects.

The conversations confirmed what we felt in 2021: the range of applications people envision for TOFU is remarkably wide — from industrial automation and edge computing to connectivity-heavy deployments requiring 5G, LoRa or SatCom.

Introducing TRACER – A First Glimpse

This year we also brought something new to the floor: the first version of TRACER, our concept for a compact defect tracking module designed for watchmaking production environments.

At this stage, TRACER is very much a design piece — conceived and realised by Studio Raphaël Lutz, it is built to demonstrate the usage and show how the system could work in practice. Visitors could see the form, understand the workflow, and engage with the idea of bringing digital traceability to the watchmaking floor. The feedback and the questions were encouraging — there is clearly an appetite for this kind of solution.

A Booth That Keeps Evolving

Two editions in, our presence at EPHJ feels like the right place to be. The show brings exactly the audience we want to talk to, and each year gives us a new opportunity to share what we have been working on. We are already looking forward to next year.
