Hannover Messe 2023 – The Biggest Stage Yet
Hannover Messe 2023 was a different scale entirely. The largest industrial fair Oratek had attended — an event where even the startup hall spans dozens and dozens of exhibitors, and the sheer density of technology on display is unlike anything else in the industry calendar.
TOFU on the World’s Biggest Industrial Stage
We presented the TOFU board to visitors from across the industrial world. Hannover Messe attracts a uniquely broad audience — from component engineers to C-level decision makers, from research institutions to global manufacturers. The questions we received were technically sharp and reflected the diversity of industries represented on the floor.
For a Swiss embedded platform still building its international presence, that kind of exposure — in front of an audience that large and that varied — was invaluable.
A Fair Worth Exploring
One of the advantages of an event at that scale is the opportunity to visit. We spent time walking the hall, meeting co-exhibitors, and engaging in conversations that went well beyond our own booth. Discussions ranged from how technology bricks are assembled into larger industrial systems, to how private 5G networks are beginning to reshape entire sectors — from logistics and manufacturing to energy and infrastructure.
Those conversations — lateral, exploratory, often unexpected — are part of what makes Hannover Messe worth attending. The density of expertise in one place is rare.
Building Presence in the Industrial World
Hannover Messe 2023 confirmed that the conversations Oratek wants to have — about embedded platforms, industrial integration, and the technology layers that make complex systems possible — are very much alive at that level of the industry. It was an important step in building Oratek’s presence beyond the embedded and watchmaking communities.
